About Alex Seal

Alex Seal, a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians who completed her entry requirements in 2020, has been supporting Markel Tax in advising contractors since she joined the company in 2018.

Alex provides support in defending taxpayers against HMRC challenges on IR35 and providing consultancy to clients and accountancy practices on a range of employment status areas such as IR35, the impact of the April 6th 2017/2021 off-payroll working rules, and outsourced provider and sole trader compliance.

Before becoming a tax consultant for Markel, Alex worked at Granite Tax Planning, having previously graduated from Coventry University in 2017.
